  • Language: Working knowledge of at least one FAO official language (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, or Spanish). Knowledge of a second FAO language is an asset.
  • Skills: Ability to adapt to an international multicultural environment, good communication skills, and knowledge of basic computer programs.
  • Residence/Visa status: Appropriate residence or immigration status in the country of assignment prior to the start of the internship.
  • Family Relations: Candidates with immediate family members (defined as brother, sister, mother, or father) employed by FAO under any type of contract are not eligible.
